Alright, more parts arrived:
- hardtop mounts,
- accelerator pedal extension (for heel-toe),
- braided brake lines (nice and red)
- 4 quarts of 40wt Race Oil
- and, a couple of brake bleeder bottles (one for the the shop, one for the track box)
all came in. Â Not pictured: new rotors, and an oil filter (not really much to look at). Â I went with white-box rotors for now.
I also placed an orders for:
- Caliper rebuild kits for all corners
- Extra ball-joint dust boots
- New lug nuts
- A mesh window net
- 3 more bottles of Castrol LMA
STEP 1: Remove the engine……
Yeah, yeah. So, I’ve read the procedure in my two manuals. One says exactly that for removing the oil pan. The other says that it is “possible” to do without removing the engine. of course, that procedure starts with “step 1, support the engine from above…step 2, drop the sub-frame.” !!! It almost sounds like removing the engine is the easy way.
